DUNEDIN FIRE
INSURANCE OFFICES AFFECTED.. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedin, January 1. Estimates of the damage by the fire at Bing, Harris, and Co.'s warehouse vary from £10,000 to £30,000. The insurance companies concerned are the Royal, £5000! South British and Royal Exchange, each £4000; Norwich Union and Alliance, each £3500; New Zealand, Liverpool, and London and Globe, and Sun, each £3000; Guardian, ; £2500; Commercial Union and Atlas, each £2000; State and London and Lancashire, each £1500; United, £1000; Alliance, £500. The building was insured for £16,400, the principal holder being the State Office, £8500.'. The damage to this, however, is comparatively small.
