The New Zealand lawn tennis championships were continued in good weather and before a large attendance of the pubilc.. The.: heat was not so great as on the previous days, and there was a fair- breeze' blowing from the north-east, but not "sufficiently strong to interfere with the play. One final was played, .that for the ladies' dombleß championship, and the holders. Misses Gray (Auckland) and Baird (Hawke's Bay) defeated Misses Brewster (Taranaki) and Campbell (Otago)i after a.long, close contest. Finals have been reached in all the other matches, and in the singles Ollivier trill .meet Jennings, who thisj morning defeated the present holder,' : A. J.'Wallace, of Taranaki. Ollivier is out of the combined championshipi, but the present holders are still in all the other events. The following are the results:—

Me'n'si Singles Championship. Third Round.—Ollivier (Canterßury) beat Pearse (Canterbury), 6—2, 6—3, 6-4. Sorai-Final.—Jennings (Otago) heat Wallace (Taranaki),' 6—3, 6— s', 7—5: Ollivior beat Goss (Canterbury), 6—2, 6—3, 6-4. Men's Doubles Championship. Semi-Final.—Wallace and Dickie (Taranaki) beat Nicholson (Taranaki) and Jennings (Otago), o—6, 8-45, 6—4. Ladies' Singles Championship. Semi-Final—Miss Baird (Hawke's Bay) beat Miss Campbell (Otago), I—6, 6—2, 6—l. Miss Gray (Auckland) beat Miss Brewster (Taranaki), 4—6, 7—5, 6—l. Ladies' Doubles Championship. Final.—Misses .Gray and Baird beat Miss Campbell and Brewster, 4—6, 7—5, .6-1. Combined Doubles Championship. SenvWFinal.—Goss and Miss Baird beat Borrows and Miss Gray, 6—3, 6—3.
