The Mount Hector Tourists' Track Committee held a special meeting on Monday afternoon. Tho Mayor explained the reason for calling the meet-'' ing, saying Mr. Shanley had reported on tho track, and the Government overseer had : sent, along men for the track work. It was' resolved that the four men go to work immediately the committee supply the necessary tools and tents. The chairman moved, and ■Mr. Murray seconded, that Messrs. Shanley, Wobster, arid Humphries be the Works Committee. i
