THE UNIVERSITY CONTEST LOCALS BEATEN The match between the .Otago and Wellington University teams was concluded yesterday morning. The result was an easy win for Otago—by an innings and 27 runs. The mn/tch was commenced on' Saturday when Otago took first strike and knocked up 249 runs. Wellington's first innings on the same day produced only 68 runs. They followed on, and in their second effort failed by 27 runs to avert an inning's defeat.
