REPAYMENT OF A LOAN
STATEMENT BY HON. J. 'ALLEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedin, December 28. '■ The Hon. J. Allen left oh his return to Wellington to-day. Ho told a reporter that arrangements had been . made by the Government for paving olt this month the balance of the loan ot nearly three and a quarter millions raised by Sir Joseph Ward four .years ago. i The money for this repayment had been . raised in London through the help ot the Imperial Government.
