UNOFFICIAL RESULT. (By Wegreiih.—l J rosa Association.) Hastings, December 28. The unofficial result of tho recount . of the Hawke's Bay vote is :— Dr. M'Nab (0.) 4217 H. M. Campbell (R.) ... ; 41*7 Informal .' • iOU Majority for Dr. M'Nab ............ 40 The Magistrate ruled that 39 of the • voles credited by the returning officer to Mr. Cainpbell, and eight to Dr. M'Nab were informal. It is understood that those votes have pencil marks through the Christian name (only) of _ one of the candidates, and the name of, the other candidate completely cancelled. It is almost certain that a Supreme Court ruling will bo taken. There are said to be numerous cases of dual voting. ■ ,
