Bangiterb was the popular fancy for the Juvenile Handicap, but, although he got hie head in front at the straight entrance, he was unsuccessful in his attempt to answer the challenge of Loreto in the straight. Happiness, own eistor to Chakwana, wad a poor third. H. Young, who rode Loreto, also had the winning mounts on Adroit and Sunbird later in the afternoon.
