The death- has occurred of Admiral Sir Henry Frederick Nicholson, (Jommander-in-Chief at the Nore. Sir Henry Nicholson was born in 1835, and was the son of .Mr. W. H. Nicholson, of St. Margaret's, Rochester. He entered tho Royal Navy in 1849, arid in 1897 became- admiral.
