FURNITURE WORKERS
UNION'S ANNUAL MEETING. _ The annual meeting of the Wellington Furniture Workers' Union was held last evening. Mr. D. R. Kennedy presided. The balance-sheet showed that tho union has a rash balance of £704 2s. Id., and assets worth £949 6s. lid. The total membership is '445^-town 239, country 206. Officers for the year were elected as follow President, Mr, D. R Kennedy ; vice-president, Mr.. J. Ferguson; secretary, Mr. D. Moriarty; treasurer, Mr. Herbert Sniit'a; management committee, Messrs. G.' F. Aers, H. Aers, T. W. Chapman, D. J. Thomson, W. Staveley; auditor,.Mr. A. H. Cooper; solicitors, Messrs. Wilford, Levi, and Jackson.
