THE FITZGERALD CUP. The final for' the Fitzgerald Cup was rowed between menders of the Star Boating Club on Saturday and resulted as follows: — D. M'Grath (str.), G. Field, W. Copeland, and D. Sullivan, 1. P. Hereford (str.), W. S. Cederholm, R. Kennedy, and D. L. Corrigan, 2. The race was a very keen one. Hereford's crew kept the lead they gained at the commencement until half the distance was completed, then M'Grath's boat gained a load and eventually won. Tho winning crew kept better • time than their opponents, whoso bow was .(•oak. Heroford, tho stroke of the second crew, rowed very well.
