PRAYING FOR VICTORY ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) London, December 20. The High Commissioner of the Malay States (Sir H. Young) has transmitted the Sultan of Tringganu's assurance that tho Mussulmans of tho community are praying for a decisive British victory over Turkey. [By a Treaty of 1909, suzerainty, protection, administration, and control of tho State of Tringganu, as well as of the States of Kehmlan, Kedali, and Pedis, with adjacent islands, was tiansfcrred to the British Government by the Siamoso Government. Tho Slates mentioned extend across tho Malay I'eninsula, unci have an area of about 10.000 square miles, with a population estimated at <150,000.
