SUCCESSES CLAMED BY ALL BIG BATTLE DEVELOPING IN GALICIA (Rec. December 21, 8.16 p.m.) Petrograd, December 21. OfDcial. —Serious engagements have taken place at certain points on the left bank of the Vistula, between the Bzura and Rawka. We attacked two companies of the enemy, who crossed the Bzura near Dakhovo. Many of the enemy were taken prisoners, and quick firers were captured. The Austrian Bortie from Przemysl failed. We caught them on the flank and routed them, a number being taken prisoners. [Rawka, or Rawa, .ig about 48 miles south-west of Warsaw.] OFFICIAL NEWS FROM BERLIN. (Rec. December 21, 10.20 p.m.) London, December 21. A Berlin official message states that the Russians tried to maintain themselves at Rawka, and nearly ©verywhero attaoked. At Latorcza a great battle is developing. In the Lupkaw Pass strong Russian forces appeared from Galicia. . SERVIANS TAKE THE OFFENSIVE IN BOSNIA. (Rec. A message from Rome states that a telegram to the Austrian Embassy states that for several days the Austrian army in Servia was without food and ammunition, and ten thousand troops died from hunger. Thus the Servians annihilated them. • TWO GERMAN COMPANIES ANNIHILATED. (Reo. December 22, 0.55 a.m.) , Petrograd, December 21. Official. —The remainder of the two companies which wore attempting to cross the Bzura were annihilated.
