Whilst travelling cn the 7.30 p.m. train from Wellington to Lower Hutt on Saturday ovening, a butcher named Thomas Round, residing at Riddler's Crosccntj overbalanced and fell from tho carriage, near Rocky Point. Mr. W. D. Campbell, of Potone, who passed tho spot later, hoard cries for assistance, and discovered Round lying across tho railway line. Obtaining help, Mr. Campbell had the injured man removed to tho Grand National Hotel at Potone, where, after receiving attention from Dr. Harding, Round was taken to his homo.
