SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for a further increase in barometric pressure and moderate to strong south-westerly -winds. Weather fair to cloudy, and improving generally, but scattered showers are etill likely to fall in the Wost Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island. Westerly and south-westerly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed, and the weather has been changeable generally, and squally in parts, with' showers especialy in the South Island.
