The committee of the Levin Home held their monthly meeting on Tuesday.- Mrs. Luke was in the ohair. The matron reported that the children were well. Mies Baber's pupils had given them-a treat by inviting them to a Christmas-tree -party on November 28, and tho children had thoroughly enjoyed themselves. ~Two children had left the home,during the month, and there aro now twenty-five girls in tho homo. The following gifts are acknowledged:—Miss Baber, £2; picture from Ministering Children's League (St. Thomas's Branch); Mrs. Knowles, material; Mrs. Evans (Ingestro Street), parcel of clothing; "Anonymous," three racquets and Bix tennis balls, and "Illustrated Londons News".; Nurse Vickcrs (Brougham Stroot), perambulator; Mrs. Jones (Island Bay), clothes- and sweets; Miss Boulcott, ornaments; Mr. L , Armour, Ford Motor , Co., load of wood; Messrs.
