In recent.fighting two soldiers of tlio 187 th French Infantry Regiment captured the colours of the 28th,Regiment of German Infantry, whose colonel was taken prisoner. In recognition of this brilliant feat of arms the colours of tlio 137 th Infantry have been decorated with the Crown of the Legion of Honour. ' , _ Fritz Kroisler, the famous Austrian violinist, has been seriously'wounded before Lemborg whilo trying to escape from an attack by sovoral Cossack Sot-, nias. Kreislor's regiment was almost entirely destroyed, and the few men not killed were severely wounded. Tlio violinist was shot in the right arm, and the doctors are unable to tell whether ho will ever be able to play again*
