About 500 tons of gifts of clothing for the Belgian poor are being forwarded to the Government from centres all over the Dominion for dispatch. In addition to this a- great deal has been received from towns nearer at hand by the Central Committee in Wellington. ; DISTRIBUTION COMMITTEE IN LONDON. The London Chamber of Commerce has appointed a special committee to distribute the Sydney commercial organisations' gifts of foodstuffs, and to divide tho frozen mutton shipments among tho distress committees in the London boroughs and the various hospitals where wounded arc being treated, and tho various Belgian relief committees. A largo quantity of tinned mutton has been distributed in Liverpool, Manchester, and Birmingham, and in the Midlands.
