Invercargill, December 7. ■ The Inspector of Police received, advice' to-night from Pembroke that Robert Miller, an old age pensioner, was found dead near his residence on Saturday. FOUND DEAD. : ' Timaru, December 7. Wm. Scott, aged thirty, son of a Lyall Dale farmer, lost his lite on Friday night through a dray capsizing on him. The horse was also killed. He was not missed till next evening, when a further search found him dead. Dr. TJnwin, of Timaru, rambling by himself at Mount Cook, fell and broke a leg. He was found by a search party, and nas returned to Timaru.
