ENORMOUS REQUISITIONS FOR THE ARMY . - ' London, December '4. The "Daily Chronicle's" correspondent ftt Cairo states that an Englishman who escaped from Constantinople reports that the war news published there asserts that the English and their Allies have been thoroughly beaten on land pnd sea, but there is a strong anti-Ger-man party. There will be a great revulsion when the impudent make-belief is discovered, and tnere is bound to be bloodshed. The Germans have made enormous requisitions for the army, particularly in Thrace.where the inhabitants are starving. The stores of coal are already reduced to ten thousand tons. The poor quality of the coal available had greatly reduoed the battle c'ruißer Goeben's speed. RUSSIAN VICTORY IN 'ASIA MINOR. (Rec. December 7, 1.25 a.m.) \ Petrograd, December 6. Official.—The Russians captured Sarai Kashkal after desperate resistance by the Turks who fled towards Van, leaving many prisoners and their wounded.
