Official.—Obstinate fighting was continued on Thursday, between Glowno and Lowicz, north of Lodz. • .. (Reo. December 6, 5.5 p.m.) Moscow, December 5. The papers claim that only a mere remnant of the vwo trapped German Army Corps near Lodz broke through to Bresiny, twelve miles to the east. Ninety per cent, of the officers suffered casualties and some regiments were reduced to a few hundreds. 1 London, December 4. During the fighting on Deoembar '4, a Russian armoured motor Corps, near Lask, which was taking advantage of the darkness, ran into a considerable German column, and with their maxims inflicted heavy losses.
