'The oharge against Stewart'Dixon,'late' prosident of the Huntly Miners' Union,' of' misappropriation of the ,union's funds,' was heard in the Magistrate's Court at Huntly to-day, and accused, who reserved his defence, was committed for trial. The charge is based upon certain irreconcilable entries in the union's b&ka made by accused during the time he was an officebearer of the union,- formed subsequent to lost year's strike.
