After an uneventful passage the Union Company's Marama arrived at Wellington from San Francisco yesterday morning. She left tho Californian port on November 11 and called at Papeete and- Rarotonga en route. Fine weather was experienced practically ell the way down. The Mamma has a large cargo for Wellington, also transhipments for Auckland, Lyttelton; Dunedin, Bluff, Greymouth,' Wanganui, ■ Napier, Gisborno, -New Plymouth, and 45 tons of copra for transWpment to London. The cargo consists of cases of raisins, apricots, prunes, apples, oranges and bananas, canned fruit, periodicals, lemons, pines, and sacks of coconuts, and much that comes under the heading of general.' The MaTama leaves WeUlngton for Sydney at .3 p.m. to-day.

Intending passengers ore reminded that R.M.S. lonic will leave the Glasgow Wharf, Wellington, for London at 3 p.m. to-day. .White the Union collier Kami, which arrived In the stream at Wellington, last evening, was at Newcastle an accident happened while she w&b being loaded and part of her mainmast was carried away. From Wellington the C. and D liner Indrabarah will go on to Wanganui, Napier, and Gisborne to commence fiomoirnrd loading, returning to Wellington for bunker coal before leaving for London. The Monowai, which has been acting as ferry steamer in place of the Maori during the latter vessel's overhaul, • will relieve the Tarawera in the East Coast service early this month. The Government steamer Hinemoa returned to port yesterday morning after having landed stores at Jackson Head, Karori Hock, and The Brothers lighthouses, The. Moana will leave Sydney for . San Francisco to-morrow. She calls in at Wellington on December 9 end sails the following day. Due at Auckland from Suva on Monday next, the Navua will remain at the northern port till December 14, when she will sail for Suva, Levuka, Tonga, and Samoa. TheNavua's first cargo for southern ports ,\vill be transhipped to the Victoria next week. The Italian ship Eurasia, recently at Wellington with tiles from Marseilles, is at present waiting at Auckland ■to pick up a. charter. When the Jlokoto arrives at Dunedln from northern porta on Sunday she will be withdrawn from the East Coast service for overhaul. The Paloona will relieve the Mokola;
