QUEEN ALEXANDRA'S BIRTHDAY
On December 1 His Excellency the Governor sent the following telegram to Her Majesty Queen Alexandra: — "On behalf of myself, my Government, and the people of New Zealand, I beg to tender our respectful greetings to your Majesty on the occasion of your birthday.—(Signed) Liverpool." A reply as follows was received by His Excellency:— "Please accept and , convey to your Government and people of New Zealand my grateful thanks for congratulations and good wishes.—(Signed) Alexandra."
