Motueka, December 2. The Hen. James Alien is being accorded a very hearty reception everywhere in.. , the Nelson district. This afternoon, accompanied by Meiers.' -T. A. H. Fneld and I'. Hudson, the Reform candidates' for Nelson City and Motueka '■ respectively, the Minister visited AValcefiold and'addressed a considerable gathering in the' Public Hall there. .;The meeting was a- most enthusiastic one, and a vote of thanks and coiiiidenco was carried, unanimous-, ly.
