BRITISH WOOL EMBARGO
PROBABLE LIFTING OF THE BAN. Washington, Decomber 1. Sir Cecil Spring-Rice, British Ambassador, lias conferred with Mr. Robert Lansing (the •American jurist), and is discussing tho probable lifting of the wool embargo. It being understood that Great Britain has • now obtained sufficient wool lor Army'purposes, Mr. Lansing -urges that the embargo ought consequently to be lifted. [Mr. Robert Lansing has acted for tho United States Government in. the Behring Sea Commission, the Alaskan Boundary Commission, and several other important international questions.]
