BRITAIN'S GREAT WAR LOAN
."FIRST TASTE OF OUR FINANCIAL POWER." ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) London, November 30. The "Times," in it leading article, says: "The surpassing _suceess of the enormous national loan is the first taste of what British financial power means whpa applied to war purposes."
(Rec. December 1, 5.50 p.m.) London, November 30. The "Times," in a leader, says:— "The German 235 million war loan lias already been nearly exhausted, and it is understood that the .Reichstag has asked for a further credit voto of 250 millions. No fresh loan will bo attempted. . The British war loan will keep the Government in funds until July, and no difficulty will lie raised when another loan is wanted."
