GUARDS WERE HARD PRESSED. ("Tlmce" and Sydney "Sun" Rcrviccs.) (Rcc. November 30, 5.15 p.m.) London, November 29. At the inquiry into the- circumstances surrounding tho rccent riot in tho intorned prisoners' camp at Douglas, Islo of Man, evidence was given 'that the signal for the insurrection was a bloodstained hand, cut out of paper and posted on_a window. There wore 3300 prisoners in the camp, and the guards \\ero unable to uso their bayonets, owing to beiug hard pressed by the crowd of rioters. The Coroner, reading the menu, which was the samo as for tho guards, expiossed the opinion that it represented , a very, generous diet. \'
