GREATER VIGILANCE URGED London, November 29. In the House of Commons Lord Charles Beresford urged greater vigilance to cope with spies. Mr. Reginald M'Kenna, Home Secretary, stated that since August in the metropolitan area 120,000 suspicious cases had been investigated, six thousand louses had been ransacked, and 342 persons interned.—("Times"- and Sydney "Sun" Servipes.)
GERMAN MISCHIEF-MAKERS IN ALGERIA. Amsterdam, November 29. A! message from' Casablanca states that fourteen Germans have been arrested at Sebdu and Oran, in Western Algeria, for espionage and inciting the population. Two Gorman post office officials at Casablanca were shot. DUTCH TRAVELLERS ARRESTED IN GERMANY. Amsterdam, November 29. Many Dutch travellers in Germany have been {.rrested on suspicion of being British spies. The Germans declare that "a/British spy office has been established in Rotterdam. '
