Officer prisoners of war must be given the same rate of pay as officers of corresponding rank in the Army of the country where they aro detained, the amount to he refunded by their own Government. .Members of the medical porsomiel in addition to their pay receive the same allowance as those of the capturing army. This obligation .does, not attach to the rank and-file.
