Tbe Hon. J. 'Allen left for Nelson last night. Ho intends to speak at Nelson, Motueka, and Wakefield, in the Nelson and Motueka electorates, before returning to Wellington on Friday morning. He leaves for his own electorate on Friday night, to remain there until polling day, but on his way south he will speak at Timaru on Saturday night. I The Rev. E. H. Strong, M.A., had resigned the Sub-Wardensnip of St. John's College, Auckland, a position , .which he has held since 1909, in order to take up work in England.
