The general respect in which the htai Mr. J. R. Blair was held was manifested by tho large attendanco of representative men present at the funeral yesterday morning, apart from relatives and intimate friends. The servico at tho houso on the Terrace and at tho crematorium at Earori was couducted by tlioj Rov. James Paterson, formerly of St. John's Church, who was an old friend of tho deceased.' Tho chief raournors wore Mr. Roborij Blair, tho only son of tho deceased, Mr, S. S. Candy, of olid Sic Rolh.
