| SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for cold and equally weather, with heavy showers in most parts of the country. Expect high southerly winds, with a rising barometer everywhere. This afternoon's reports, however, show that a further Ml is probable in tho Eouth, and a return to unsettled conditions and boicterons westerlies in the near future. A storm area is now passing in tho south, with high west to south-westerly winds, and rain has fallen in most parts of tho country.
