HARBOUR BOARD
Messrs. B. Fle'toher (chairman), J. G. Harkness, R. A. Wright, a' E. Daniell, A. D. Kennedy, J. W. M'Ewan,'H. Nathan, 1). J. Watson, M. Cohen, end C. Jones were present at the monthly meeting of tie Wellington Harbour Board held last evening. The statement of accounts presented was' as fellows:—Bank Pass BooksCurrent account, credit '£27,686 0s 10d.: imprest account, credit balance, £018 13s. 3d.;"on fixed deposit, £60,000. Payments—For accounts and wages, £13,409 lls. lid.: for progress payments on contracts,, £2315 15e. 5d.; for salaries for November, £970 2s. 6d.; total, £16,695 9a. 10d. In, accordance with the recommendation of the Wharves and Accounts Committee foreshore license No. 84 (boatshed, and .ekids at Evans Bay) was transferred from Mr. A.. J. Lancaster to Mr. E.J. Proud. . The Engineer's report relating to the asphalting of. the concrete breastwork at Waterloo Quay (northern reclamation) was agreed.to; This work is to be done by the Neuehatel Asphalt Company- ' .
