November 24, 11.30'. p.m.) New York, November 24. , ; The steam schooner Hanalei (666 tons, of Los Angeles, Independent S.S. Co.) has been wrecked on Duxbury Reef, off the Massachusetts Coast. Two. of the passengers swam ashore, but two of the crew were drnwned in making a similar attempt with lifer lines. Life-savers attempted to rescue the survivors in a thick fog, and five were drowned. . ■ Fifty .persons are still on board the schooner,' which if breaking to pieces. (R'ec. November 25, 1.20 a.m.) New York, November 24. Five members of the life-saving crew who were supposed to have been drowned were finally dragged on hoard the Hanalei.
