' Large bodies were surrounded and captured at Lowioz (about 50 miles west of .Warsaw), and the enemy is abandoning his guns. /"THE OF THE'TRIPLE ENTENTE. \ ' CTlmea" and Sydney -Bus.- Berrice«.) . ; London, November 23. A 1 correspondent at Warsaw says: "Already Russia must have lost heavily, but the losses mean'little to her, as she is a 'men-millionaire,' who never feels the poorer however many she spends. Peasants and soldiers are deeply calm in the presence of suffering and death. The idea of a glorious death is spiritual meat and drink to tbem. They love their brother soldier when alive, and-when he is dead he becomes holy. This feeling makes the Russians almost invincible." The German Press, the correspondent says, pretends that Germany is always "acting purely on the defensive." According to.a message from Amsterdam, a communique from Berlin declares that the arrival of fresh troops from Warsaw has deferred the decisive result in Poland.
