PARCELS POST SYSTEM
IMPORTANT ALTERATIONS. From December 1 next important al-, terations will be made in the parcel post system. Tho limit will remain at 111b. for plaoes served l by wheeled conveyance, and at 51b. for places served by pack-horso or on foot. A list showing the status of the various offices will be available for reference at all post offices. The charges have been fixed at 3d. for the first pound, lid. for each succeeding pound up to 131b., and Id. for each pound between 131b. and 281b;
The maximum length of 281b. parcels must not exceed; 3ft. 6in., and the maximum length and girth combined must not exceed 7ft.
