MR. CRAIGIE'S POSITION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,)' Tlmaru, November 23. 'About a hundred Labour and Liberal supporters of the Ward Party met tonight to consider the situation in ' the Timaru electorate. A deputation of four was appointed to ' wait on Mr. Craigie, to ascertain definitely his position, and failing a satisfactory reply to draw up a list of suitable men who might'be asked to stand, and submit to a future meeting. Sir John Findlay was mentioned. 'Vhe roll closed with 9015 names, 54 moro than last election.
