SIX-DAY CYCLE RACE WON BY AUSTRALIANS. BrWeeraph—Freea Association—OosyrliiM, New York, November 22. Alfred G-oulett (Australia) and Alfred Grenda (Tasmania) won the six-day bicycle race.

LOCAL OUP FIXTURES. The local baseball Cup fixtures were continued on Saturday, but owing to the high prevailing wind good baseball waa out of the question. St. Patrick's College A team by defeating South have now a lead of two points in the competition.

•The game was interesting at all stages, and the Collegians won' through their strong attacking powers. First innings—South took the "outs," Harrison pitching Cijinpion out on first. O'Donoghue reached first on a safe hit; Hodgins walked, Hodgins attempted to steal, but M'Mullan caught him off the bag. Craig out on first.. No runs. Second half—O'Donoghuo pitching—. Jansen safe on first, stole second Harrison struck out, Jansen stole third and came home on an overthrow. M'Mullan readied first on safe hit, stole the remaining bases,' and came home on an overthrow. Wadman fanned, M'Clintock safe on first, stole second and third, and came home on a wild throw. Adams fanned. Three runs. Second innings—-Redwood safe on first, stole second, Burke did' likewise; both being brought on . Parsons ' two bagger. Puhara walked—Kelly fanned —i-'arsous and l'uhara home on Campion's hit. Campion out on first, O'Donoghue safe on first, stole to third, Craig fanned. ' Four runs. : Second half—Breakespeare, by pretty Bafe hit, reached first stole to third: VVestorholme out on first. Seventh .innings—The College boys slammed the' ball all over the field, Bourke, Kelly, Puhara, : Campion, O'Donoghue, Hodgins, and Craignead crossing the plate. Seven runs. Second half—Adams, safe on first, stole second and third; Breakespeare fanned, Westerholme fanned; Adams home on passed ball; Dealy fanned. One run'.

Eighth innings—Jansen pitching, Parsons fanned; Kelly safe on first,, stole second and third; Puhana reached first on safe hit, Kelly home, Campion fanned; O'Donoghue walked, stole second and third, and came home on Uodgins'e sacrifice.
