The Methodist Synod considered in committee a motion pledging the members to uso their utmost endeavour to urge tho policy of the' Bible-in-Schools League in public and private, and to counsel members and .adherents of the Church to do the same; and a further motion pledging adherents to refrain from supporting any candidate who refuses to vote for the referendum.
