WHEAT PRICES IN NEW SOUTH WALES.
Sydney, November 20. The Food Prices Control Commission recommends the Government to farther increase the prices of flour, bran, and pollard. Mr. Hall (Attorney-General), questioned) stated that the price of wheat would be ss. at country stations, equivalent to 6s. 4§d. and ss. 6d. in Sydney. (Bee. November 20, 8.50 p.m.) ■Sydney, November 20. ,'A proclamation has been issued increasing the price of flour in the counties of Cumberland and Northumberland to £11 17s. 6d.; elsewhere the price is £2 17s. 6d. above the price ruling on August 1. Bran and pollard in Cumberland and Northumberland ia raised to £7; elsewhere the price is £1 above the price ruling on September 10.
HANDSOME GIFT TO MELBOURNE HOSPITALS.
(Reo. November 20, 8.50 p.m.) Melbourne, November 20. The Alfred and Melbourne Hospitals have been legally advised that Mr. Edward Wrigglesworth, of Hull, has donated £10,000 to each institution. There are no particulars concerning the donor,but it is believed that he is identical -with a gentleman who left Sale forty five years' ago, and -whose whereabouts has not, been, known since. ' .
