(From Our Own Oornsspondent.) 'Aβ a result of two dramatio recitale recently given by Mr. J. Culford Bell, Miss Betty Pufdom, and; pupils, the Britain and Belgian Relief Fund will benefit to the extent of about £12. ■ The Alicetown Congregational Sunday School children have contributed lls. to the Belgian Children's Fund. ■At the conclusion of Mr. Wilford's political address at Lower Hutt a doll presented by little Miss Elsie Barlow was auctioned, and "knocked down" for £3 ss. 6d. This sum is to be handed over to the Belgian Relief Fund'. A concert in aid of the Belgian Relief Fund was given nt the Petone.Lyceum last evening. Prior to the performance the Municipal Band paraded through the town, and also rendered selections at the theatre doors. Mr. W. M'Ewan was stage manager, the Misses Walsh and Jones pianists, and a special orchestra under Mr. Ninness contributed to the programme. Other performers were Mrs. Montgomery, the Misses V. Walsh, M. Allan, L. Corson, C. Inline, and Messrs. R. House, Lansdowne, W. M'Ewan, M'Mahon, C. Howard, J. Wilkinson, T. Wallace, J. Mason, Taylor, Walsh, and Stewart. A patriotic sons; entitled "Ye Sons of New Zealand," written and composed by Mr. 0. Ayison, and sung by Mr. J.'Chamberlain, was a feature of the evening. The drawing of the art union in connection with tlie Hntt Valley carnival also took place during tho interval,
