It was announced yesterday that tho Union Company's Warrimoo would arrive at Wellington from Hobart, via the south, to-morrow, and leave again tho tamo day for ilobart direct and Melbourne. On account of a heavy gale in the south, however, the vessel hats been delayed, ana consequently 6ho will not arrive in port till Sunday. The Warrimoo will be dispatched for Hobart direct and Melbourao at 5 p.m. on Monday, November .23. KAIKOURA ARRIVES HOME. A cablegram has been received by the local agents for the F. and S. Line stating that their chartered steamer Kaikoura arrived at Avonmouth fri.m Wellington on Wednesday, November 18. The liner left here on October 3. WAHINE IN DOCK. . When the Wahine arrived eit Lyttelton from Wellington yosterday Is was found convenient to dock her for the purpose of effecting repairs to her bow rudder Bteering gear. It is stated that the ferry steamer will arrive at Wellington from Lyttelton on Sunday as usual. Tho Mokoia, which is due here from the north to-day, will act as the ferry steamer between Wellington and Lyttolton this evening, leaving at the usual time. Tho Manuka, which is bound from Lyttelton to Sydney, via Wellington,'acted as ferry steamer from tho southern, ports last evening. TUG MAHUTU SOLD. Messrs. Emirali and Ford, of Auckland, announce the sale of the tug Mahutu. Tho, vessel has been purchased by Captain Lovcll, of Napier. She will probably be taken on the slip this week to undergo repairs, and the necessary alterations for trawling, in which, it is understood, she will be in future engaged in Hawke's Boy. Tho Mahutu was owned by the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, and has been engaged in towing sugar barges in Auckland Harbour for several years past. Shei'3 a serviceable' and staunch little vessel, and should prove herself most suitable for trawling. DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORTS. Mr. G. G. Potts, second engineer of the Ngahere, has come ashore, and the third engineer hce been promoted a etep. Mr. J. H. H. Holm, of Wellington, has signed on tho vessel as third engineer. The- Peninsula, and Orient now mail and passenger steamer Kaisar-i-Hind (Emperor of India), so named in commemoration of the visit of the- King and Queen to India in. 1911-12, arrived at Tilbury, Docks recently. She was constructed by Messrs. Caird and Co., Greenock. The vessel is 11.430 tons gross register, 520 ft. long. 61ft. wide, and 38.3 ft. deep. She is Jitt-ed with two sets of quadruple expansion reciprocating engines, developing 16.CD0 horae-power. The Kaiear-i-Hind is intended for the London, Marseilles, and Bombay trade. The'Patoena's overhaul will not be completed in time for the vessel to take up her running to Picton and Nelson, before Wednesday of next week. The Mapourika is scheduled to leave Wellington for Picton and Nelson at 5 p.m. on Monday next. According to advices received in Wellington tho P. and 6. Line's steamer. Star liner Zealandic will arrive at Wellington from Lyttelton to-morrow. Departure will he taken for London on or about November 27. As the Mapourika wa6 late in leaving Picton for Wellington last night, she w«6 not expected to arrive in port before 5 a.m. to-day. Information h<us been received from Eon Francisco stating that- R.M.S. Marama has left there for Wellington.. She is due in port on December 3. Due at Auckland to-day the Tokomaru will lift cargo for London prior to proceed- I mg on to Whangarei and Gisborne. Later the liner will como on to Wellington to complete.
