HUTT VALLEY GUN CLUB
The usual monthly shoot of the Hutt Valley Gun Club was held at Taita during: the week, when three events wer© decided. The first was a live bird match for a trophy presented by Mr. A. Scott, and was won by 11. Philp off 24 yards, with the possible—seven kills. Tbo two clay bird events of 21 and 15, the former being a competition for trophy picsented by Mr. S. Scott, and the latter a 6weepstak«, resulted as follow: Mr. S. Scott's trophy (21 clay birds) —A. E. Smith, loyds.j 20 out of 21' (lei? in) ; B-. I'bilp, 11yds., 20 ouo of 21; John BraseU. 14yds., 19 out of 21; G. M. Williams, Byds., 19 out of 21. Sweepstake (15 clay birds) —A. 13. Smith, 16yds., 14 out of 15; R. PMlp, 12yds., 13 out of 15; S. Edwards, 18yds., 12 out of 15.
