SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
Present indications are for changeable weather generally, RQUO-liy in parts, and showery in the West Coast and sonth.ernmost districts of the South Island. Moderate to strong southerly winds ore probable, changing to increasing westerlies, the barometer falling again shortly. ■ The barometer has risen every-whore, and strong -oath-westerly winds have predominated, galea being experienced in many parts of the country. The weiather has been oloudy and squally generally, with rain in parte, bnt more favourable conditions have ruled in the neighbourhood of Cook Strait. D. 0. BATES.
