The Government has decided' to advance prices for wheat from 4s. 9d. to ss. 6d., of flour from'2los. .to 2375. 6d., of bran from 116s. to 1505., arid of pollard from 140s. to 150s. From information collected'by the Minister of "Agriculture it appeared that the forthcomings harvest would be insufficient by about a million bags, for consumption in the Commonwealth.' While New South Wales.will have a surplus there would be a shortage in the other States, and it would be necessary to import, probably-from Canada. .
