, ANOTHER LAAGER TAKEN Cape Town, November 15. Official.—Colonel Badenhdrst, on No- , vember 12, at Ura, Frankfort, captured Van Coller's rebel laager, with fortyseven prisoners and fifty-sis horses. Two rebels were killed and* three wounded. WHITE FLAG. TRICKERY, j"" (Rec. November 16, 8.25 p.m.) . , Cape Town, November 15.

Major Breedt and forty-six Britstown loyalists had a sharp engagement with Stadler's 260 rebels at Schuitdrift. The rebels, showing a white flag, asked for an armistice to enable Colonel Maritz to be brought up to discuss terms of surrender. Breedt agreed, but after the loyalists'had been recalled Stadler appeared with a white flag and demanded Breedt's surrender, because he was surrounded by superior numbers. ■

■ Breedt then ordered his men to reoccupy the positions. This was accomplished, despite an attempt to cut them off. Meanwhile fifty of the rebels with the white flag in the rear were disarmed by a ruse. Breedt then successfully retired, carrying off the transport, after inflicting severe losses. Small parties of rebels have been captured on the Capc-Tranvaal borders.
