GENERAL ,VON KLpCK'S PARLEY FOR TIME. Paris, November 15. The story is told in. Paris that when President Poincaire recently went to visit the front he did so in the hope of securing General von Kluck , s surrender. Von Kluck was hard pressed, and asked for terras of surrender. Pretending to accept practically unconditional terms, he managed to apend the whole day parleying, and finally said that he must have Berlin's author; ity to conclude terms. Hβ was given another day to secure this authority. These two days, however, were utilised in rushing up reinforcements, and resting his exhausted troops. Negotiations were then suddenly broken off. The story adds: "The next time von , Kluck seeks terms he will be given, an hour in which to come in."
