ASSIGNMENT.OF DUTIES. . The enlistment of 60 many officers with the Expeditionary Force has caused a redistribution of-the remaining officers for the various military districts of the Dominion. ,Om; Palmcrston correspondent learns that the principal appointments in tho Wellington district comprise the following:— Officer Commanding the District, Colonel R. W. Tate. . ; General Staff /Officer, Major ,W. C. Mormon.' '" . Assistant Quarter-mas ter-General, Major J.' T. Bosworth. : Commander No. 5 group, Wellington, Captain P. W. Skelly, with Lieutenant C. W. Mellor as 1 area officer of Nos. 17 and 18 areas, and Lieutenant D. A. Kenny of'Nos. 19' and 20 areas. Commander No. 6 group, Palmerston, Captain" E, C. JJovey, 'with Captain J. H. Grover/ area' officer of Nos. 21, and 22 areas, and Major W. G. Ashworth of Nos.' 23' and 24 areas.
