NEW ZEALANDEES ABROAD

London, September 17.

Mr. and Mrs. A. V.. Hunt, of Auckland, end their daughter, Miss 11.- Hunt, are staying at Twickenham.

Mr. Eugene Wason, M.P., late of New Zealand, and' his wife, about whom' inquiries were 'made through the Foreign Office a few weeks ago, were reported last week to be in good health and on their way home from Geneva.

Captain T. A. S. Atwood, of Takapuna, Auckland, and Mr. Atwood, have spent most of their time in England with the former's relatives in Warwickshire, Northumberland, Essex, and many other counties, and have done a great deal of motoring about the country.

Mr. and Mrs. Sidney L. Boote, of Auckland, have returned from a motor tour of the South of England, Scotland, and Ireland, and shortly leave on a tour of towns in the South of England and the Midlands. If war conditions permit they hope to go to the Continent in about two months' time.

Mrs. E. M. Kilgour, of Auckland, returned to England from a week's stay 'in Paris, Brussels, and Antwerp,, two or three days after war was declared. It is now her intention to remain in England'iintil the end of .the war, and in that time to give her help to the New Zealand War Contingent Association and other working guilds that she has joined. Dr. Neil M'Dougall, of Auckland, who is aocompanie'd by his wife and threa children, has come over on a holiday, and to do post graduate work. Since their arrival they have motored through England and Scotland. They are at present on a flying visit to London, but leave shortly for Glasgow, their headquarters. ; .'. ;

Mrs. J. Blakoloy, of Auckland, and her daughter, Miss E. Blakeley, have spent some weeks at Brighton and Southend, and toured through England, making stays in the north. Tho war has prevented them going to France and Switzerland, ae they had intended, and they leave by tho Otway on November 20.

The following New Zealand ladies are amongst those attending Dr. W. A. Chappie's course of first aid lectures at the Leaguo of the Empire. Buckingham Gate:—Miss J. L. Lewis, tho Misses Margaret and Maud Haydon, the Misses Leua, Adelaide, and Minno van Staveren, Mrs. Herbert Alington, Mrs. Goodland, Mrs. H. N. Fletcher, tho Misses M'Herbert, and Miss Ziman.
