Association's Metropolitan Show was opened to-day jn- fine;weather, anil there was, a. great display of stock. In Corriedales, the Now Zealand and Australian Land Company (Moeraki Estate) obtained the' champion award. Mr.- John Stringfellow was also successful' in this section. In Border' Leicesters Mr. Jas. Ross secured tlie champion award for rami the reserve champion, being awarded to the John Douglas Trustees. In Lincolns, tho champion ram and owe were those exhibited by the New Zealand and Australian Land Company (Moeraki Estate), the reserve champion being shown by: Mr. A. E. '"Withell.' The Now Zealand and Australian Land-Company . (Moeraki / Estate) /secured the reserve champion for a ewe exhibited. In Romney Marshes, the champion ram was that shown by Mr. Donald Grant (Timaru), who also secured the reserve champion. 'The champion ewo was that shown by Mr. S. Andrew. In Shropshires, Mr. Leonard White was awarded ■champion for, his ram, and also secured the reserve' champion.- . Tho champion ewe was. that ehown by Mr. James Johns, Mr. Leonard White being awarded! reserve champion.
